Latest Intel HD Graphics Driver for Windows 8

Here's the specs on my favorite versions of these little boards...

I'm very sad about that because I've been buying a 6.5 x 6.5in Intel board with the Atom CPU, 4GB of SODIMM DDR3 RAM, video, audio, Ethernet, VGA/DVI, HDMI, etc... for a little over $120. The Intel D25xx and D27xx product lines. These boards replace old P4-based boards in old PC's that I "revive" for friends and family. For a reasonable cost, I can rebuild their old PC, reuse the case, PS, hard drives and DVD drives and put Win7 on them and they're all set. Now I'll have to find something else to use. These weren't on the market too long, less than a year...

On such devices you can go with 32bit without problems then. The limit for 64bit was a max of 4GB because of the hardware limit on those processors so not much is lost. Lightweight hardware requires lightweight software / OS anyway.

Yep, I've been running the 32bit version of Windows 7 and these little boards do a great job. Because I load up the RAM to 4GB, the OS can't use it all, but some it gets used for video by the system, so it's fine. The video and audio is pretty impressive and there's no CPU fan, just an integrated heatsink, so the only fan noise comes from the PS. The WEI is usually 3.5-3.7 and I usually pair these with an SSD or SATA II hard drive as the onboard controller is SATA II.

I'm running Windows Home Server 2011 (only comes in 64bit) on one of these with an extra 3 hard drives connected to a SATA controller on a PCI card in the only slot and it runs the server OS very well. 5 x2TB SATA hard drives and one fan pulling air in across the drives and another pushing the warm air out the rear of the case. No issues at all...

i have the dell inspiron n5010 core i3 first generation which has the intel(R) graphics HD. but i couldn't able to find the latest driver for the windows 8 32 bit....kindly suggest

i have installed the driver, and its fixed all my problems - I knew it was a graphics driver problem, as i have a pc with a Ati graphics card, and it was working, and not my laptop with a 540gt plus the intel hd - laughing now

The Intel Driver Update Utility is just analyzing for a long time and nothing happens
edit: i just installed the driver and i cant adjust screen brightness

Intel doesn't provide any kind of driver for the Express 4 series, you'll need to use the current WDDM1.0 driver from Windows Update or install the older Windows 7 version in compatibility mode.

I have a laptop with the same chipset and everything works, I haven't tested the scaling but it's too underpowered to run whatever game out there.

Hi,i have Intel HD Graphics 2000.when i run automatic update utility in intel website,it says product detected Intel HD Graphics 2000
but in device manager it is only Intel(R) HD Graphics,why is it ?
& 1 question can i straight install Intel HD Graphics driver in my laptop ? means should i uninstall wddm driver came with windows 8 before installing driver downloaded from intel website ?
& why it is not wddm when i install it from intel website ? should i make any modifications to install it or just straight,double click on .exe file & all done ?

Had an update today (optional) for my Intel 3000, funny thing is i already have the latest driver (3347), but I ran the update anyway to see what was up. I checked device manager after the update, and the driver is still 3347? wonder what that was all about.
