It is a strange problem, and it has worried me a little the comments I made, and would like to apologise. Something is obviously blocking the driver installation - smart screen unlikely - your antivirus program I don't think so either - you could run this scan it wont do any damage - right click command prompt and select run as an administrator then type this in and press enter : sfc /verifyonly. Have you tried installing another driver to see if it will install eg the latest NVidia driver Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
