I usually check rage3d.com for AMD driver releases and these aren't even listed there, so that's a bit concerning.

Just got a GPU driver update through Windows update that's dated 1/28/15. I don't see anything on AMD's site though.

Weird. I installed CCC separately from the Omega drivers exe and it's reporting the same version number. I hit up AMD on Twitter to see if I could get some info. If I hear anything, I'll report back.

But I have 7950. Maybe you got something specific for your GPU. I am using an older card after all.

I'm using 14.12 Omega from AMD and in device manager is 14.501.1003.0 and date 20.Nov-15. Which would mean that MS drivers are older.

Yep, looks that way. Wonder why it's just popping up now. Odd.

Back to the Omega drivers.

I believe that is the 14.8 release. MS is always behind in offering WHQL drivers through WU.

Just heard from a friend, it uninstalled CCC from his 14,12.

I have an AMD card too, it looks like it may be time to turn this off: View attachment 57330 all my system drivers are good and I have no problem., especially since the Omega update and the amdmantle64.dll bug where reliability history said ccc crashed when one closed the program normally was finally fixed.

It didn't help me any, it still wants to download and install.
