How to Turn On or Off to Send Automatic Replies in Mail app in Windows 8.1

In Windows 8.1, the Mail app has been updated with several new features and improvements. One such feature is to be able to send automatic vacation replies for when you know you’re not going to be seeing your email for a while.
This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off to send automatic replies to people in your modern Mail app in Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1.

Note
The send automatic replies setting in the Mail app is only available for added Outlook.com and Exchange accounts.
EXAMPLE: Mail app automatic vacation reply message
Here's How:
1. Open the Mail app from your Start screen.
2. While in the Mail app, open the Charms bar, and click/tap on Settings.
3. In Settings, click/tap on Accounts. (see screenshot below)
4. Click/tap on the Outlook.com or Exchange email account you want to set this for. (see screenshot below)
5. Do step 6 or 7 below for what you would like to do.
6. To Turn On Send Automatic Replies
A) Under Send automatic replies, move the slider to the right to turn it on. (see screenshot below)
B) Type a message that you want to send with the automatic reply.
C) Check (turn on) or uncheck (turn off) to only send automatic replies to people in your contacts.
D) Whenever you open your Outlook.com or Exchange account in the Mail app, you'll notice that it will have Automatic replies under the account name at the bottom left corner to help remind you that it is currently turned on.
E) Go to step 8 below.
7. To Turn Off Send Automatic Replies
NOTE: This is the default setting.
A) For only the first time that you open your Outlook.com or Exchange account in the Mail app after turning on send automatic replies, you will get a notice at the top to Turn off send automatic replies or Close the message. (see screenshot below)
OR
B) Under Send automatic replies, move the slider to the left to turn it off, and go to step 8 below. (see screenshot below)
8. When finished, you can click/tap anywhere in the Mail app to close the account settings pane.
