I don't have the fly out in step three. Only PC Settings with User Accounts only. Or am I doing something wrong?

    Hello Bill,

Do you have the Mail app open when you open the Settings charm?

If so, please post a screenshot showing what you see instead to see what the issue may be.

    Brink,
When I click on the mail app I get a blue screen with a large envelope. It only is on for a couple of seconds, not enough time to goto settings, Then this screen comes up requesting that I log into a MS account.

    Bill

    PS: Disregard #3. My mistake.,

    Did you get it sorted?

It sounds like you signed in to Windows with a local account. If so, then you could use step 6 in the tutorial below to sign in to the Store with your Microsoft account and still stay signed in to Windows with your local account.

    Bink,
I am going to out this off for a few days or hours. Everywhere I go it seems that I am asked for my MS credenrial;s I have not needed them since W7 days so I forgot them.
What can I do to retrieve the credentials? Who do I talk to at MS? I think it might be wise to use the same credentials on this new machine, even if I have to change the user name and PW for MS logon. What do you think?
