Solved Windows Store Broken

Firewall setting:

Step 1) Download attached file.
Step 2) Extract contents to Desktop.
Step 3) Right Click SubinACL.bat , Select Run as Administrator == This will create StorePerms.txt on the Desktop.
Step 4) Right Click StoreDiag.bat , Select Run as Administrator == This will create StoreDiag.txt on the Desktop.
Step 5) Attach files to next post..

**Note: StoreDiag.bat is set to restart your computer after 30 seconds. Save your work, Close all programs.**

This is a start, I still have more to add.

Never removed it from Store.

Nothing unusual in Credentials Manager.

Did you change it?? Because it's works fine over here.

SubinACL.exe & the bat file need to be in the same directory. (Desktop)

I ran it once & it blinked out of existence.
Both files were on the Desktop.

I added a pause at the end of it next & ran it again.
I'll change it back & try it again.

StoreDiag log shows permission issues. So, something is blocking parts of the fix.

Do you use WinPatrol or something similar?


You could also run the commands yourself.

subinacl.exe /outputlog=%userprofile%\Desktop\Storeperms.txt /keyreg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\Repository\Packages" /display

My mistake David, I had a copy in the System32 Folder that's why I didn't have any problems while I was writing to code.

Copy SubinACL.exe to C:\Windows\System32\

It didn't help disabling WinPatrol.

I've used it for years with no problems.

It's never given me a message about the Store.

But I don't.
