Right so I guess it's only over due that I should make my debut over here.
After installing Windows 8 pro on my system yesterday this what I have so far


P.s to any Admin how do I go about getting my Sevenforum Sats over here?

Here's my basic setup.

My primary monitor has the start screen and is where I do my med school stuff. My secondary is for random stuff.



Here's when I flip the start screen to the secondary monitor:



And I do have a third monitor but showing it would just be showing another monitor for no reason (it looks like my secondary monitor but with a different wallpaper and a different taskbar).

I like this metro screen a lot, news, sports, stocks, weather, people! I use these apps quite a bit. When it comes to application I just use my desktop most programs are there.
I also like the sidebar for applications! Messaging is my primary active one uses little room, nice clean and simple. I just wish Outlook was in the metro!

Trevers1987. just go into your control panel in eightforums.com, and arrange it like you want. seven & eightforums are totally independent of one another.

Trevers1987. just go into your control panel in eightforums.com, and arrange it like you want. seven & eightforums are totally independent of one another.

Yep sorted all last night have every thing the same as Sevenforums nows thanks all the same

First open up you start menu then click on what looks like a minimize button (Zoom out) on the bottom right of the screen.
Then you will see all you apps become Smaller select the apps you wish to group and then right click to add label.

I'm a webdev and a gamer and I like win 8 but none of my software runs in the app formally known as metro, it is to me, totally useless, I can't even drag a file from one app to another, the basics for a PC that one uses for their work.

I do like some of the new features of win 8 and am using it as my main OS now, have it booting straight to desktop and never launch metro, hence that lack of tiles.
