I got to say > You are very limited with short answers and information. Now from what you just said I'm assuming you are dual booting with 8? On the same suspected faulty HHD?

Does the error give a number? Unfortunately it still points towards faulty hardware.

Finally gave up and broke down to buy or did they take the old one back?

For what it's worth > I think you ought to install more cooling in your box. Those SSDs don't take the heat like the spinners.

Well, I mean comical because no crash dumps are ever posted (as part of log collection tool, whether dumps exist or not) despite numerous requests.

True, but some problems are very hard to troubleshoot over the internet. Wish I had his puter in front of me.

Do you people not understand I have said multiple times I cannot get access to any of these logs because I cannot boot? The only one I checked on BSOD viewer before my PC went down was caused by ntoskrnl.exe 14dc0 I believe it was. At this point it's just replacing hardware till something works. Also Masterchief I was asked once for a dump file which was on the first page and I clearly state I can't get access to it

Sorry to read you're still having problems. I'm sure you've come to the conclusion there's only two things left > CPU and MoBo.

The only suggestion I have is a computer shop where they have the equipment to test. Is there one close by?
