how to solve this document may be truncated or incomplete!

hi i'm a photographer and most my photos when i'm trying to edit it in photoshop
i got this message "this document may be truncated or incomeplete"


this is photo i found in internet but it's looks like most my photos

i searched google for this problem but i didn't found any solution :shock:

i have 20 gb photos like that what should i do

When it comes to questions like this, having your system specs may help us figure out whats going on, or at least give us something to go off of when we make suggestions. Please update your system specs with all the info you can.

How much RAM does your computer have? Is your harddrive close to being full? How much virtual memory is set up on the computer? That error may be due to a memory limitation.

my ram in 3072MB
my hard drive is 500 GB and I have almost 100 Gb Free

That looks like your specs should be good enough for some simple image editing. Though with image editing, RAM is important. I would consider adding more if you can. Sorry, I don't know a whole lot about image stuff. Maybe someone else can help you out.

What happens when you use Gimp. Are you downloading the photos off of the SD card, while it is in the camera, or are you taking the SD card out and using a card reader? How long have you had this card? It is possible that the card is corrupt, is the reason why all of your photos are corrupt.

When you go through the photos while the SD card is in the camera, by using the LCD screen on the camera. Do you have any issues reviewing them that way?

i think that the problem isn't from SD card because pictures that i have downloaded from internet has corrupt too and i remember when SD card connected with my PC my pictures weren't corrupt

It looks like you have a bad video driver issue, or bad monitor.

it's not from the video driver or monitor because i moved some pictures to my laptop and still see like this

in the bottom of the picture like a bottom bar but it thin like 5 cm

It is hard to tell anything from that thumbnail. You need to post a full sized picture. Even though it is just pictures. The GPU or monitor can still be culprit.

nope it's not a bad video driver issue or bad monitor because i move pictures to my laptop and still get something like that
in bottom of the image like a bottom bar like the photo and every picture have different size of bar some 2 cm some 4 cm and some like the picture

I remember those , had the same issue once when a hard drive started to go bad , it's missing picture data from truncated picture files due to drive errors , the players try and show the whole image , but fail because the data is corrupt.

i can see all my photos and player open it i saw 98% of the photo but strange purple and pink line in the end of the photo
