Will the new iso you posted work as an upgrade disc coming from Windows 7 so I don't have to reinstall everything? I reverted back to a backup of Windows 7 after I got the bsod during install.

Thanks very much for this solution. I'm downloading the iso now, but regardless of that I'm glad that I found an answer to the question:

"What happened to the fast and stable computer that I had with dev preview running?"

How do i integrade the proper files/drivers for to my local (language) installation -windows 8- dvd ?

This thread has been very helpful for me when I had this issue....

The best fix I've seen for this can be found in the blog posted here:
Guru Meditation and other problems in life: February 2013

This basically allows a standard fresh installation of windows but with the custom setting of using the AMD RAID driver.

The only complexity of this is to use an application such as 7-zip to extract the drivers from the official AMD setup exe's, but that's all explained on the blog and there are no risks involved with using other peoples drivers.


This avoids having to mess with extracting WIM files etc...
