Hello everyone, let me start off by saying I'm new to all this troubleshooting stuff so even though I built this PC myself, please have patience if I didn't post my specs or something when I needed to.
So, my PC is freezing sometimes (almost once a day, sometimes twice). By freezing, I mean it locks up completely, and moving the mouse doesn't do anything on screen, nor does the keyboard work. The only way to get back up and running is to use the power button. This issue didn't always happen, as I remember it working fine in the first couple of months after I built it but then it just started happening one day. I don't think malware could be a cause as I have antivirus programs installed, and they were among the first I installed on day one.
A few weeks ago, I did some tinkering with the drivers for my wireless adapter, (Netgear WNDA3100v2 N600) and it seems to have made... some change? Now sometimes when it freezes i can move the mouse, but if I click on something it won't launch or open and it will eventually lock up completely like before. I've bounced from thing to thing, not knowing what is even causing this issue. At first I thought it had something to do with Google Chrome, then with my wireless adapter/drivers for it, and now I'm completely lost. Maybe it's something to do with the power supply? I have no idea anymore.
I saved up so much for this computer and I really just want it back in reliable gaming condition! If you need me to post some sort of spec list or log file just tell me how and I'll do it. Thanks to anyone who's willing to help me!
