Need more help with Win 8 & 7 dual-boot (UEFI, GPT)

Hey guys, I joined to specifically tell you that I solved this problem a few minutes ago. Windows was freezing at the boot logo itch out fail. It IS because you are not running in compatibility mode. Csm or legacy mode is needed for all systems before win8 on newer uefi supported systems. Simply look for an option in you bios for legacy or compatibility mode if you don't see Csm. I was stuck for 2 days until now. There must be an option somewhere in your bios (boot options category) . Really hope I helped, good luck.

We know, take a look at the tutorial:

I made the pendrive bootable using "Rufus" following the steps mentioned.

After this, I opened BIOS and disabled "Secure Boot".

Can anyone please tell how to sort this issue ?

Finally, I was able to install Windows 7 side by side to Windows 8.1.

Besides setting "Secure Boot" as disabled, we need to set "Boot Mode" as Legacy Support in place of UEFI.
Then when we go to Boot options, it shows bootable pendrive in 2 options :-
1) UEFI
2) Simple bootable pendrive

Select the UEFI pendrive and continue.

The issue will not come.

Once you installed Windows 7, reset all BIOS settings back to default.
