Windows 8.1 Randomly Freeze / Crash

Windows Updates are very important to the welfare of your system, especially the security ones. Optional updates you can do without, hide them if you see them in the optional section.. Don't go by what has happened previously.

Sorry, I can no longer assist you with this problem.

The dual boot is what is causing the conflict and should have be mentioned earlier on. Unfortunately I do not have enough expertise in this area and maybe some other member may have a solution for you.

Sorry not having mentioned before. No thought was related since they are two different partitions. I appreciate your help anyway!

One last question. Why you say that the dual boot is the problem?

Thanks again!!

No, dual boot is not related and cannot be related to errors like "\Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\WPD\0000".

I have had your problem since I bought my PC on different systems like Windows 8, 8.1, 10 (rarely) and even different Linuxes (more randomly, similar errors and freeze).
