I can't imagine going back to pre-Windows 7 without the 'winkey+right/left' snapping. It makes managing things so much easier for me.
I can't imagine going back to pre Windows 8, with it's new move/copy dialouge box making it so individual files can be paused, and each job is placed neatly in the same window instead of loads of them either covering one another or being all over the screen.
Windows 8.1 itself makes it easier to move files around by moving certain folders into 'My Computer/This PC'. If I move something to This PC/Downloads, the navigation pane doesn't auto expand to C:/Users/Karl/Downloads instead. I only have to visit two areas of the windows explorer navigation pane (This PC and Recycle Bin).
I hope that one day we get the ability to see the file size of a folder as well as files, and perhaps the ability to choose weather that filesize is bytes, kb, mb, gb, tb etc. I'd also kinda like Microsoft Security Essentials aka Windows Defender to return to form, and Windows Movie Maker (pre 'Live' overhaul), just with modernized filetype associations and HD video capabilities.
