Coming over from sevenforums (and recently joined tenforums). I skipped the entire 8 business and I suppose later this year will be taking the Windows 10 free "upgrade". So, having self built my last 2 and my son's last 2 PCs, I decided I WANT (dont need at all) a new powerhouse. Going to let DS do the heavy lifting--even though the boutique builders are approaching 40 to 60% price premium level. Next to top I7 CPU, ASUS X99 deluxe board, Radeon R290x, couple SSDs, couple 2 TB HD, robust PSU, fancy remote control LED lights (ha) and cpu/gpu custom loop liquid cooled. Build has already been approved and about to move into initial test build stage. So I ordered it with 8.1 pro rather than 7 beause I figure I need to at least have used 8 before I try 10. lol.

Will be around in about a month much more I'm sure as I struggle to figure out what I am thinking is going to feel very, very strange.
