USB 3.0 issue with windows 8.1 help please

Sorry about the delayed response. There is not that much info about this tablet i have noticed i wish i just brought a surface! As i have it now i just want to make some use out of it.

when i connect my dash cam or my pogo alert plus or a external hard drive they all connect then disconnect constantly one off they will work with no issues but i need this to work all the time so i can eliminate my laptop on my travels.
I agree i think it’s a software issue but i can’t find a driver that will work on this! On the device manager it pop on and off constantly so i can’t even select it.
They all work flawlessly on my windows 7 home machine and my laptop.

Nothing connects to this tablet with USB OTG correct ? Tried different USB cables ?

thanks for your time mate. Yes that's correct other then a pen drive USB 2.0. yes tried many different cables.
regarding comment 12 on the FAQ on the mobius site i do not have a SD card installed in my slot.
i followed the advice of running USBoblivion and it has not worked for me. i can see im not the only one with the issue now.

Yes, and as far as other devices i can not see why a external HDD won't connect. I have a ASUS tablet it has no issues with USB devices so far i connect to it, even used a USB hub after the OTG cable and connected a 2 devices. Your pen drive obviously going in same connection on the OTG cable as others try.

Try this, open the device manager in the tablet go to Universal Serial Bus controllers left click to open it and right click every USB HUB, Root Hub and USB Mass storage device and select uninstall, then reboot the tablet. Then the tablet will reinstall all those devices again. Then try it again.

One other suggestion try to contact manufacturer of the tablet about the issue, i know this may be hard as i saw even looking it up online.

I have now solved this issue it was a weird cable issue. I'm using two diffent cables for these two devices to work. One is a thick usb cable marked " hi speed usb revision 2.0 shielded 28 AWG/1PR+24AWG/1PR+24AWG/2C E164535 D"

For the pogo I'm using a cable that corn with my canon digital camera. I don't known why this works liel this but it does.

Strange, mean small end go in Tablet and bigger male end goes in the device. Before with USB OTG cable it is opposite. These device have a standard female USB connector. Your Welcome, glad you figured this out been 2 months to look back and read and remember all from before.

Usually OTG cable has smaller end male to go into the tablet and female USB on other end. Cables shown have 2 male connectors, so does those devices you had trouble with have standard size USB feamle connections, as i see only way i am thinking of this working. Unless i am confused by pic.

O.k. that is basically way was mentioned in beginning here to use, OTG, but always was problem still with devices used and the tablet. If it works now, i am glad for you, just wondered how from then to now. As seem like same cables still now as before.

they are different USB cables i am using not the same so that is the difference. its all sorted anyway end of topic ;-)
