Multiple BSOD erros. Random times.

Could my RAM be faulty?

Yes, but it is more likely that it is not set well in bios.

Since you're not using a generic replacement for the Razer, but instead a Microsoft device, its driver needs to be updated as this one can crash Windows 8:

Code:
2: kd> lmvm dc3d
start end module name

Got another BSOD. Memory Management. This one was interesting. When my computer restarted after the BSOD it was stuck on the Motherboard screen that says "GIGABYTE Ultra Durable" and would not go past that until I restarted my pc.

Do you have any other suggestions for me? I took out the last two sticks of my ram got another BSOD, so I replaced the first two with the last two I took out. Didnt get a BSOD for a day and a half. Until now. I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

The timing is at 9-9-9-23 But the DRAM Frequency fluctuates from 789-794 when it should be 800.

Check my edit

Ahhh, I see the edit. Ok. If you could just post a screenshot of the SPD tab, that would be cool, just so I can double-check and can authorize myself (lol) to give proper advice.

Any idea why?

That's fairly normal. Values tend to float around what is set, very closely.

But ya, what you should really do, is visit the forum of the RAM maker. They tend to have great staff that may be able to help with precise settings for your exact motherboard, even outside of RAM settings. And they're also the same people that can help you return the RAM for replacement, if they determine it's defective, which is likely.

Tell them your drivers are clean and well. Have them see the code below, if necessary (except dc3d module, which you've updated):

Code:

I apologize. I must have made a typo or saw something incorrectly before.

The 23 tRas value should be changed to 25.

Since I can not see all of the JEDEC (neither can you) - this resource says those modules are 9-9-9-24.

So you can try at 25 for now. If crash, set to 24. If crash, see RAM forum.

Hey man.

Ive run memtest and it found an error with ONE of me Ram sticks. So I took it out and only left two in my system that passed Memtest 15+ times with ZERO errors. I thought that was it. Didnt get a BSOD for about 12 hours. Then BAM. Got one. I dont know what else to do. Ive replaced my GPU, Run memtest, and everything. I had Driver Verifier enabled for the past few BSODs before you ask. Here is the dump file.

If you could just take one last look to see if you see anything that would be great.

Yeah, I'd just get the memory replaced by the company.

Latest crash is showing this, but it is likely to be from faulty memory. If there is an update, of course install it, but I do not suspect much gain to be made. If it does in fact fix things, then more power to ya, but I wouldn't place a large bet on it:

Code:
DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is
because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the
administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.
If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, bugchecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will
be among the most commonly seen crashes.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000000000000f6, Referencing user handle as KernelMode.
Arg2: 0000000000000228, Handle value being referenced.
Arg3: ffffcf8041022900, Address of the current process.
Arg4: fffff802408345d5, Address inside the driver that is performing the incorrect reference.

I didn't review the thread, so I don't know if I mentioned or not:

Razer drivers are iffy under the best of circumstances. Until the machine is stable perfect, Razer hardware should be removed from the system and software uninstalled.

You also can attempt to use Driver Fusion to clean the machine of all NVIDIA video files/settings. Reboot and re-install latest driver from them.

If that .exe shown is to some feature you do not use, attempt to disable it in services (if it is in fact a service there.) Nobody else is having this issue that I have seen, so that at least says something that the issue is not widespread.

A possibility too is a faulty video card or power to it, but that's unlikely, especially because you already found errors in memory.
