I think I read somewhere that my graphics driver will automatically update through Windows Update if I upgrade to Windows 10. Is that a possible solution?

Some of them will.I think I read somewhere that my graphics driver will automatically update through Windows Update if I upgrade to Windows 10. Is that a possible solution?
It looks like it wants to run CHKDSK( check disk) I would do it.Hey, finally got around to installing Windows 10. Not sure if the freezing is going to continue, as I didn't see any update for the graphics drivers. I did find a notification in the taskbar saying "Restart to repair drive errors" and below that, "Click to restart your PC". Should I go through with this?
In BIOS, it could have something to do with PCIe frequency, to be sure try setting it manually on 100MHz.I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but I recall going to the BIOS settings for a reason that I don't remember. I tried not to make any changes that I didn't feel comfortable with but maybe I changed something accidentally? Would that affect drivers or anything? At this point I have no idea; this thread has been up for so long and I still have little clue which direction to head.
Try changing drivers first. Clean old drivers out with: Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 15.7.2.2 before installing another. It's been a long time since my last post and it seems the computer is now occasionally freezing and soon after recovering with a message along the lines of "Intel HD graphics driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered." There are still the OTHER freezes where it says "Microsoft Windows is not responding". Should I just get a new graphics card at this point? If I recall correctly this thread narrowed it down to something with the graphics drivers.
Yes, clean current drivers with DDU and install drivers again.Do you mean I should clean my current drivers and see if it fixes the problem, or that I should get a new graphics card but first clean/remove the existing ones?
Well, some say it's risky to cross a street.Sorry for the late response, the last few weeks were extremely busy for me. I searched up DDU and it seems to have mixed opinions. Some say it helped their problems and others say it's extremely risky to use a driver cleaner.
