Making Windows 8.1 look like Windows 7

What's the closest one can make Windows 8.1 look like Windows 7? I tried following the guide in How to Make Windows 8 or 8.1 Look Like Windows 7 or XP but the link to the Aero theme is dead and without it the result looks really chintzy

Get visual styles from DeviantART. Use Windows 7+ Theme Installer to install the .theme files. Get Aero Glass for Win 8.x+ from the website to get the blur. Finishing touch, get StartIsBack for the start menu.
