Solved Is it hard to build a computer?

Hmm, so what does that mean exactly, about the 1866 speed memory and the 1600 mHz? Sorry if this is a rather stupid question, but I'm kinda learning as I go.:geek:

Well, there's not much of a price difference, so I'll take your suggestion and plan on going with the Corsair. ;)

It's easy! If I can do it, anyone (well, almost anyone) can do it. We'll help you out... Here's one I built for myself last spring and I've been tweaking it ever since... I build 4-6 computers a month for family, friends and folks at church and work... I only charge what the hardware and software cost and I never add any $ for labor...

Now THAT is a nice, clean and MODERN looking system- I can't see any wiring so it is dressed cleverly, all of my PCs are like my Living Room, wires and junk all over - Except for my main PC, this one, but it's an old MSI M-Box Case, but I have an ASUS M2N board in it, I have about 6 drives crammed in there where there was only room for maybe 3 originally. I don't know if doing that is such a good idea for cooling purposes. I used to keep my extra SATA storage drives in external cases that had their own power and fans, but the cases I liked never lasted very long, KingWin I think. They weer 25 bucks apiece at Newegg, hard metal case with plenty of shock padding- But the SATA circuitry inside was faulty.

Well, my eyes have been opened to multiple games that I would like to get, refer to the list below. So I'll need an inexpensive graphics/ video card. So if you know of any, please let me know, I'd like to stay under $150.

Games I'll definitely get.
The Batman Series

Games I might get.
Watch Dogs
Assassins Creed Series
NFS: Most Wanted
Burnout Paradise
Driver San Fransisco

If you know of any good T rated open world/ free roam games for PC, if you could suggest them, please.

As I said before, a GTX 750 TI will work. I Recomend you to download GeForce experience right a way. It will optimize your games for your system config. Most of those games are compatible. Nfs Rivals is also a great open world game.

P.s. wanna be friends on origin? I have most wanted and it would be cool to play multiplayer together!

That's right, sorry I had forgot that you suggested that.

I would like that, but at the moment I don't own any of those games and my current computer is to under power to play them, I can hardly get through Minecraft, without it crashing!

Looks good!

Looks good! Here are a few I've built recently... The 3M Scotch pads are filters and they were sitting there temporarily... I put one of those in front of every fan to trap some of the duct and I clean them often...

Wow! You've been busy! :) This is a little off subject, but have you ever set up triple boot on any of your computers?

Does it all run pretty well? I'd like to have Windows 8.1, Hackintosh, and Linux Mint.

I have dual booted operating systems but I never liked it so now I use VM's (VirtualBox) and I have about a dozen virtual machines, each a different OS that I test on. It's my job and my hobby....

How do you like it?

It runs pretty well but a Hackintosh is pretty advanced and requires a very certain CPU, GPU, RAM, ETC. I would not recommend a Hackintosh.

But how to I know! I'm using AMD!

I built a hackintosh once and considered it a huge waste of money, time and effort. About 5 years later, I bought a MacBook pro. I truly find the OS without the hardware experience to be disappointing.
