Solved Install problem ,Wintel windows8.1 32bit UEFI

Do you have an Un-Used windows 8.1 product key you could use to activate a windows 8.1 installation ???

If so what edition is the New product Key for ??

Download that edition of windows 8.1 - but download the x86 version...

no only the non accepted 64 bit vers.
but i have ordered an 32 bit vers, hopefully i will get it tomorrow.
hopefully that one will work for activation.

What didn't work? - I just added the check key functionality to see if the key is valid...

we need version numbers, as it just seems to get better and better..

Hi again .. here is what i found.

when i go into control panel - activate windows screen:
it says
"installed key: xxxx - and the 4 last digits is same as in the key i get from showkey plus.
but if i enter the installed key from showkey plus it is not correct , enter another key .. bla bla.

Your keys are valid for the edition - if the licencing service is not running, it will reject your key irrespective...

Please run a WDT diagnostic report so that we can check what's kicking it out.

done .. did an diagnostic with your tool.
hope it shows anything.

i also started msconfig and looked at the services started and stopped.
and im thinking you are on to something here.

if that service is stopped how do i start again , doesnt seem to be able to do it from msconfig, and cant find it in activity handler or whatever its called.

Seems fine to me apart from not being licenced - I see you do have Processor Architecture: x86. The only other unsual thing is the product ID has a unusually many zero's.. but noy here nor there... - licence service is available and no corrupt files - so you could try manual activation.

What error do you get when you run the following in command prompt as admin.

slmgr.vbs /ato

(note the space before the / )

Well that explains the strange ID and the fact that you have an OEMM key installed but it's not in the firmware... That key may have been used on another machine and subsequenly got blocked - someone messed up at the factory and assume gave you a retail key instead(?) - which can't be installed - is that correct? - what happens if you do it via cmd prompt admin:
slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx (ie the retail )

Well then both keys are blocked - unfortunately, you will have to get the seller to provide you with a new key. They shouldn't sell blocked keys. Refer them to this thread if need be.

Well hello guys and / or girls .
So , back in the error mist again, got the new dvd with a brand new win8.1 32 bit oem.
tried out to activate windows with the new key and guess what - it didnt work.
there must be something really wrong with this installation or what.!?
i really tought this would solve this , but No.
