Just going to be honest as possible:

Tested Free Windows 8 Product Key Exploit on Acer Ferrari One - Confirmed working via tricky method not listed online

Tested Secret Phone Exploit via Microsoft Activation - Confirmed working and they even gave me full details on procedure which I have documented privately

Tested 14.99 Promo Code Offer - 32bit and 64bit - Confirmed working! Different countries will offer different options.

Tested 32bit to 64bit conversion possibility upgrade assistant - Only architecture listed will upgrade via page table.

Tested 32bit Consumer Review - Still testing as this doesn't enforce NX Bit for installation on 32bit

I've been helping everyone I know before the Jan 31, 2013 deadline to get legal cheap or free. Either way to help the movement keep moving in the right path.

Yesterday cleaned a 640Gb drive and dropped it into a 6-7 year old 4 core > installed Win 7 > DL'd 8 Pro with WMC > updates, updates, updates... This'll be Wifey's soap recorder and iTunes server. Everything but the TV tuner card drivers were there. She loaded the same in her old laptop a few weeks ago and likes it.

I came the long way round via windows XP! Though I had 64b motherboard, I still had 32b XP on there.

Wouldn't let me download the 64b version as I was running a 32b machine, so instead found a 64b pre-release on web, downloaded that to a spare partition, used it to download the full version in 64b, created an installation disk, and the finaly did a fresh install over my original boot partition.

Phew! Got there in the end.

Hello mates,

Didn’t know that the low priced 8 upgrade was just that..lol and wanted to keep both systems.

Installed Win 8 Pro x86 on my old lappy, an upgraded not supported Sony VAIO VGN-NR220E iT8100-3GB on another partition behind Win 7 Pro.

Went with the 32bit as I was concerned with drivers, thou the upgrade adviser stated both x86/A64 were supported. The install went brilliantly but one issue with the not recognized ExpressCard 34 slot, but I will get it soon.

cheers

Dual Boot is tied with Primary System, heh. I always do dual, triple, quadruple boots. I cant use Hyper V on these machines, the hardware isnt supported. - BUT! I never dual boot on the same drive, it spans multiple drives across the system.
