Why so slow, first time, on a HDD it took me some 20 min, on SSD no more than 12 or so and all that from a DVD.Laptop took all night desktop in the process like what I see so far, more info later.
You should not have to do anything, instead of Defrag you should see TRIM command. You can check at : Right click on My Compputer /Manage / Storage / Disk Management ...... Right click on that drive Properties / Tools/ Optimize. There you should be able to turn off or on optimization. If it is listed as "Solid state drive" when you press "Optimize" for that drive it should force run "Trim" command instead of "De-fragmentation".
It is not about the Trim I was talking about, but to check if Auto Defrag for that drive was deactivated. If it was deactivated than it is replaced by forced Trim command.
