Solved BSODs while gaming, fresh 8.1 install I think it's my GPU

Alright John,

I had an idea to revert to Windows 7 just to see if it's really a driver issue or not. I still bluescreened but with a different error message this time, a USB error. Right now, I am convinced that it is the motherboard. All these different errors with all sorts of drivers erroring out, it has to be. I have a motherboard on the way.

I'm glad to hear that you've ordered a motherboard.
Let's wait and see what happens with it.

Just FYI, here's the output on the latest memory dump:

John,

I have not blue screened in almost five days, I believe I have fixed it.

1. My Corsair H100i water cooler does not play nice with other USB devices in the same hub, I moved the cooler to it's own hub.

2. When I backed down my overclock, I forgot that I turned off ssome of the C states but not all of them. So that is why all of my 100% load tests passed, the cpu was getting the proper voltage. However, I turned off the downclock C state and forgot to turn off the downvolt C state, so at lower loads the cpu was at full clock but because some of the power saving options were still turned on, the system wasn't getting the proper voltage. This is why I blue screened during normal tasks such as gaming or when updating during the night - some cpu load at full clock but not full voltage.

I turned off all power saving C states and I have not received a blue screen in almost five days. Thank you for all of your help and guidance in recognizing it was not a software error. I apologize for my idiocy in forgetting that I turned off half of the C states and not all of them.

I am marking this thread as solved, thank you again for diving into my DMPs.

There are so many possibilities when it comes to BSOD's that's it's understandable to forget some of the things that have been done to the system. Most of what I provide is hints that let you (the person most familiar with the system) with a few clues.

I'm glad that you've solved it. Thanks for letting us know!
