One of the things about Windows 8 and navigation is that it's so easy, it's confusing. When you see a whole screen of tiles or within an app and you don't see anything obvious to show you what to hit, yes it get's frustrating and it's confusing. But when you use it for a bit and learn that you have to go outside the "box" to navigate around, it becomes easy.
