I have not done anything and my metadata failed in Event Viewer seems to have gone away now with Windows 10.

Really, fixed in Windows 10, i think not, just checked still about 6 in one day of metadata errors 131. So you Windows 8/8.1 users are in same boat as ones who upgraded. Thanks Amtino for working hard at trying to resolve this issue with MS. Obvious this is not an important to them to fix since...

Saga continues.....been almost a year now. Thank you all for your efforts on this matter as i have been following this thread for probably 6 months or more. On Windows 10 and as said here still i see same issue, 4 errors today other day was 9 errors on metadata.

O.k. that is basically way was mentioned in beginning here to use, OTG, but always was problem still with devices used and the tablet. If it works now, i am glad for you, just wondered how from then to now. As seem like same cables still now as before.

Usually OTG cable has smaller end male to go into the tablet and female USB on other end. Cables shown have 2 male connectors, so does those devices you had trouble with have standard size USB feamle connections, as i see only way i am thinking of this working. Unless i am confused by pic.

Did you remove all Anti-Virus programs before trying the upgrade ? Did you make a USB or DVD from Media Creation tool ? Did you reserve your Windows 10 before this and receive any info on it of anything being incompatible and why did you not try to use downloaded files for upgrade if received ...
