Solved How to become administrator?

I have windows 8.1 pro, and I recently enabled bitlocker without tpm.

To check that the bitlocker recovery key matches the identifier on the pc, I followed the instructions of Option three, step two

However, I get this message in cmd:
"ERROR: An attempt to access a required resource was denied.
Check that you have administrative rights on this computer"

My computer is a home computer, and I just logon normally without microsoft account just normal windows 8 (local?) logon.
I'm thinking I'm not logging on as an administrator? Yet if thats the case, how was I able to enable bitlocker in the first place?

Open Control Panel and select User Accounts. You will see Administrator beneath the name of your account if you are one.



Click on 'Manage another account' to see all the accounts on your PC.
