No, Windows 8. They *may* work in Windows 7 though.

As for working fine? Hehe. Sort of..? Have you been seeing the brightness debacle with switchable graphics? HP totally screwed up the driver inf and I had to fix it in the registry afterwards so as to not unsign the drivers.

I also sent another email to that Marc at AMD asking for any new info, he said he can't discus new drivers that haven't been released lolol, OKyyy but that he's keeping his fingers crossed for me lolololol..............

My solution won't work for him, because he has to make it work for everyone and mine has to be customized, depending on model. I am sure there is more than one way to skin a cat in this case.

I checked on some specs, and I think I have just about the same as the envy anyway, this thing has all that crap, BT, 1920x1080 screen, wireless bt, BD player, beats audio, and the other usual crap. I do like this steel brushed look case though, it doesn't show the finger prints at all.

If it says it supports your card (and it seems it does), give it a go!

Worse case is that it will have minor issues and you will have to remove them using Treexy Driver Fusion (see instructions here).

If it DOES NOT support your card, it WILL NOT even install!

Smirks, ROF, I'm glad I got you lookin out for me on this matter now

But its weird that even some WITH that same GPU are reporting different results, so who knows, for now I'm stickin with W7 for at least another month. I'm trying to find out if I can remove this tools partition so I can re partition my C, HP has this weirdo 4 parrtition thing. I'm thinkin about just going duel boot, but just thinkin lol.

Besides it looks like AMD is kinda/sorta ccomming along on this Enduro driver thing, so maybe in another month Leshcat can have better stuff to work with, as long as Intel coperates.

Hi,

I have a Lenovo g570 with intel hd graphics 3000 + ati mobility radeon 6370m hd. Win 8 Pro RTM Build 9200 recognizes ati as 'ati radeon hd 6300m series' but says

'Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)'

I've removed all drivers with treexy. System reboot itself and resolution decreased. Then run Catalyst 12.10 WHQL UnifL Installer, installed DSE then reboot and installed certs. Then I click next, selected intel's older version (8.something) which was saying that its for gen1/2 and older laptops. Then moved on, ati catalyst setup started, in the middle, when screen was blacking (drivers were setting up) screen went black, then back again. Then again went black, and boom=restart. I've tried again but its not working, its rebooting in the middle of the setup progress. Luckily windows itself set intel hd 3000 graphics again.

PS: In bios, no fixed switchable graphics avaliable. Just UMS and Switchable can be chosen, ums deactivates ati completely.

Seems like you are trying Leshcat UnifL. If so, the best help would be to submit a ticket there following the instructions after the link.
