stuck at uefi bios screen when starting computer

when I start up my computer it goes directly from the asus loading screen to the uefi bios screen. when I try to exit out of the screen(save changes and reset or discard changes and restart) it goes right back to the uefi bios screen. it also isn't even a new computer like most people having this problem, I've been using it for almost a year already then when I tried resetting it it just went to the uefi bios screen instead.

Can you enable boot menu which should allow you to press F-12 on startup to get boot options ?

the first thing that pops up when i press the power button is the asus logo and "press delete to go to uefi bios" at the bottom and it goes to the uefi screen

Reset what? Did you reset the BIOS to defaults, or do a Windows Reset?
