and after doing the scan and reboots ive gotten alot of errors and warnings

Are these from event viewer?

Not everything that event viewer shows as an error is really a problem. The Microsoft XPS and Fax are programs in windows so you can get faxes when hooked up to a telephone line on your pc and xps is: An XPS document is any file that is saved in the XML Paper Specification, or .xps, file format. You can create XPS documents (.xps files) by using any program that you can print from in Windows; however, you can only view XPS documents by using an XPS Viewer, such as the one included in this version of Windows.

To really check your system health (Remember system health checker in windows 7?) give

[FONT=Courier New]perfmon /report[/FONT]

in an Admin command prompt it takes about 1-2minutes and when it's done it looks like this:

View attachment 56084 when the top five dots are green your good, when not you can then see what is wrong or at least where then go to that in event viewer. ps. another good one to save as systemhealth.BAT

Also I noticed you're using Avast. For the DCOM error I found this at Microsoft community:

HI Babu,

This was a clean install of Windows 8, but since I posted my question here, I have had to wipe and start again.

The root cause of all of my problems seems to have been Avast anti-virus 7. After a day of use I began getting BSOD due to Avast. Sorry I can’t remember the error, just that when I searched online other people using Avast had the same problem.

Since then I have moved to AVG and I am no longer getting the DCom error, or any other system instabilities. (knock on wood)

I also just find this on the Avast forum.

It seems they are aware their software is killing Windows 8. Though the fact they are still investigating some issues with regards to Win8 BSOD, obviously means they have not found the cause of the problem.

Anti virus software is really a question of personal taste. On windows 7 I use Microsoft Security Essientials and on windows 8.1 I use Windows Defender and NEVER got anything, but then again I don't use P2P file sharing like Bit torrent and I practice safe browsing.
Have you tried the system health check out?

Yeah I see the WMI. Do you have Tweaking.com Windows Repair on your PC(My favorite tool) this can repair it and many other things.
