Windows 8 Pro bootup slowly

I checked it with Soluto.

What's that?

Ahh.. see it .. Never used this before that's why.

It's not the best solution if you ask me. Did it shortened the boot time as they advertise? For that it will have to be 100% compatible with Win8 which I'm not sure.
You can use it, but you'll need to know how.

IMO,
Task Manager and the Windows tools provide enough possibilities and you could use CCleaner also which is compatible with Win8.

Search for "performance" on Start Screen and see this:
performance.png
Click that marked one.
That will tell you if something slows you down or not. That's all.

I gave all the best tips I got.
I don't blame any program but if soluto say that svchost is the bad one here, it also has to give you extra details for that.

You can also provide a screenshot of task manager as I did in other post (here). We'll see if that helps or not.:)

Alright bro. I see the screenshot.

Thanks for posting. I don't know which one has the highest impact on performance (you got a bit more items) but if this is not helping try the other thing:

Try the search "performance" in the start screen (see my post above).
Just translate it. I opened it in Win7 and 8 and NO issues were detected (at 85 seconds restart speed).

See this, I get on 2 pc's:
issues.png
No issues.
But I remember a while back it said that antivirus service is slow and stuff (BitDefender). Now I run built-in Windows Defender because is faster.

It says no issue BUT in my case it's still slow, just to tell you that this isn't helping much either.

If it doesn't say anything, just like in the example here, then it must be due to a slow harddisk.
Mine Win8 HDD seems to be slower (5400rpm) than the one(s) on Win7(s) (7200rpm) and maybe that's the problem generally.

What are the basic specs for your system (RAM, disk, graphics) just to know if one of those things is to blame or not.

I don't see any problems here. The hardware is pretty recent.

Have you searched the performance info I posted earlier?
Here is a link with another thing: searching for "troubleshooting" in control panel should find something as well:

Apologies, I didn't tested this in Win8 yet, but I will soon. It should work IMO.

I'm out of ideas one thing you can still test is defragmenting the HDD and see if it improves.
Even better is to go to safe mode and see how fast it goes because all extra services are disabled and all starup items. In other words: all those items from our lists an many svchost processes.

See this:
http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2757-safe-mode-start-windows-8-a.html

There is a MS thread here and people also try safe mode.
See this:
Computer doesn't start properly - Microsoft Community

As you can see it's harder to go in safe mode in Win8, but it's still there.

But after all, safe mode is not suited for daily work and we'll have to disable it again.
It's just to see if it is indeed faster. That will tell us that the culprit was disabled, but we still don't know which program it is.

If you're sure it's svchost then I'm not sure what else we can do.
Svchost can be seen in many network and system services at the services section.
By disabling some of those services will disable svchost instances BUT most of those services are Windows components that are required to run and it will have a negative impact on the system runtime. For example you stop svchost networking service than you cannot go online anymore and so on...

There is also a startup folder in hidden start screen somewhere.

Searching all those places and tweaking many options is time consuming and recommended only for experienced users.
Don't apply anything if you're not sure how you can restore it back afterwards.

If the startup items are all disabled and no other third party services run then the system runs already at maximum speed in normal mode.
That's the story.
