Windows 8 already accounts for 10% of W7 Steam

I may have just upped that percentage. XD I just upgraded to win8 pro, and have been playing Skyrim.

Steam has worked flawlessly on Windows 8 ever since Developer Preview. The only issue I've had was a brief 2 week period where the Steam MSI was having permission problems across all version of Windows, but Valve fixed that quickly.

and about the Start Screen "getting in the way." When you boot up, it only takes one extra second to click the "Desktop" tile.

i agree 100% ,and if you put the desktop tile first in the list you only need to hit enter on the keyboard
