Solved Windows 8.1 not booting

At what point do you get this error?

When I press next on the custom installation.
It says it can't format it so I tried to format it manual and that's the error.
It happened to the new hard drive I tried too :(

Also I have checked gigabytes website for the newest sata drivers for my Mb.

Did you have both hard drives connected?
If so, disconnect the bad one and try again.

Else, boot the recovery media and open command prompt

That may be due to a hard drive failure. Try a flash drive OS like Porteus ( Put it on your USB through another computer ).This way you can run a live OS without a hard drive. Then using BIOS, change the boot order i.e Flash drive first. Plug in the flash drive and boot.Check if you can access files on the hard drive while you are on it.

We already found out that it could be due to a HDD failure, but there is a problem with the new one.

Well I think I'm gonna test out a third hard drive.

Insert the installation media
Insert the rescue media
Boot from the rescue media,
Open command prompt and type:

LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 
DETAIL DISK (to make sure you got the hard disk)
CLEAN
EXIT
EXIT (this one gets you back into the install program.

Just asking could I use seatools to check if my hard drive is failing??

By the way I don't think the hard drive is faulty I get the felling it might be my power supply.

Um I couldn't get seatools too detect my drive. Any ideas?
