Dear Reader/s,
I am currently running Windows 8.1 with the latest updates that come up daily.
However, I have run into an issue where;
Private Networks + Public Networks are not able to apply changes to turning ON network discovery. Therefore when I open network it comes out with only the connected devices such as laptops/notebooks and personal-computers. It will not display the Network Infastructure which is my modem router + routers + range extenders. As well as my printer that is connected. When I click on "Change Advanced Sharing Settings", and click on the box to TURN ON Network Discovery for both Public and Private networks, and "Save Changes". These changes are NOT applied, and therefore I receive no network mapping at all. And this has created quite an annoyance for me. Contemplating a safe return to Windows 7 Ultimate.
Please advise and help me, my other notebook is running Windows 8. And can currently view the network mapping and I can change all the settings with ease, as so this is quite frustrating. Never truly had a Windows issue until this. If you wish to view images, please post a reply asking so, and I shall portray my issue visually.
I thank everyone in advanced if you can, or try to help me!
