I just had it pop up yesterday, "Your Adobe Flash needs to be re-installed" - Looked pretty convincing, but I KNOW my Adobe stuff is all up to par. It came up after looking for a file on Sendspace.
I have seen "You need to update to the latest version of Flash" messages, right after updating to the latest version.
There is an option to set the "Required Flash Version" (when you build a Flash project).
I wouldn't be surprised if some of these messages are caused by people setting that option incorrectly.
