Yes, after the expiration date, you can no longer use your computer with W8 DP, and you will lose everything that is not backupped, so in the final week of march if you havent done so, do it.

Now why can't I burn data to dvd using Windows Explorer?

Do you mean "it"? Is your computer's dvd-drive compatible with your disc? and is the disc empty and is there enough space for the file, as you know that the developer preview with dev-tools needs a double-layer disc.

it needs double layer disc? i didnt know that. i dont have any... i have plain writable dvd with 4,38 GB capacity. And by 'it', I meant like nothing happens, like i didn't even try to burn

EDIT: and the data to burn only takes 180 MB

i think that you'll have to download this version (it's x64 but without the developer tools)
or mount a .iso file trough bios

Windows Vista, and 7 have software build in for burning a CD.

But for mounting, and other disc files, like .bin (anything other than .iso) you will need seperate program.

But W8 DP is .iso, and all you have to do is double-click on it, and it will open the burning screen.

no, not the w8. ive installed win8. ive downloaded files that would extend my primary partition. however, it seems that im unable to burn.

Mirac, go to the Norton beta forum, get the 360 v6 beta, it has a graphical tool in it that can increase your logical disk/partition.

Norton 360 ISN'T just a anti-virus, it has a ton of tools as well! Go into the PC Tuneup section, you will find a tool in there to extend your local partition. Also weird, it isn't blocking bit defender on any of my computers.
