I am an ElitePlus member of BestBuy last time I checked there is a tiered return policy.

-15 days for regular mybestbuy members
-30 days for elite mmybestbuy members
-45 days for eliteplus mybestbuy members

Whatever your mybestbuy tier is you should be able to find out how long you have to return it. I think also there may be certain stipulations on refurbished products you may want to check on bestbuy unboxed forums for that information though from a onnector.

Yeah normally a laptop won't shut off from over heating until the 70/80's generally speaking.

You could always open her up, take the fan out ( careful really small screws!) get a thing of can air and clean the fan blades. Put the fan back in and try again. Are you physically able to feel the air from the fan hitting your fingers?
Thanks. Got home, cleaned the fan out, runs better now. thank you for the help all you of you guys!
