My gaming PC randomly freezes

your hard drive is there.. its unallocated.

right click the unallocated one (black) that says 1863 for the size and click format..

You didn't do a UEFI install.

You really should consider a UEFI install with an SSD and windows 8.1. It makes the boot process way faster. Your GTX780 also supports full UEFI boot, so that you can disable the CSM.

Who knows maybe it will solve other problems as well.

good point.. i am on with him with teamviewer now.. but i can't help him when he restarts and goes into bios.. eeeeeh...


so time for him to use eightforums Brink's tutorials on installing UEFI!!
