Please boot into safe mode and run the dm log collector again.

hi, i have switched to safe mode as instructed and started the dmlog but again no such file as you requested.
pls advise.

okay noted.
usually the bsod occur within 5 min of booting the computer and entering in the password.
n it is always the same error as far as i know. POWER_DRIVE_STATE_FAILURE

Open taskmanager, go to the startup tab, if iTunes is present and enabled then disable it.
See if that helps.

i can only see itunes helper in my startup. assuming i will disable it, how will i know everything is back to normal?

The startup items are loaded after the boot process, it sometimes takes a few minutes for them to load completely.

You know it when you don't get crashes at startup anymore.

will upgrading to window 10 be good?

Until you get problems it won't be good.

Upgrading won't remove problems but cary them over and give extra problems due to drivers and software not compatible with Windows 10.

90% of the bluescreens are caused by drivers, why do you think it is a hardware problem?

Give some details, like run the dm log collector, upload the zip and give some description of what happened.

If one only says

it is by far enough to say something without additional data, but it happens a lot.

uninstall : control panel > programs and features > uninstall

install : go itunes site at iTunes - Download iTunes Now - Apple (SG)

If you remove iTunes and go to the directory

%SystemRoot%\system32\DRIVERS\

Can you find the driver GEARAspiWMD.sys?

Just remove iTunes and see if this driver is still present, nothing more.
Simply search the location I gave in my previous post and look for the file.

yup it's still there even after i removed itunes.

Please make screenshots of the installed software and post the screenshots.
