Okay, next time again with a clean install.

It's a good idea to format the disk with seatools from ms-dos ?? or I do it from windows before installation ??

I already did a clean install with windows completely updated. I installed drivers lan, chipset, audio, gpu and avast.

Now I am reading through the forums msi to update the bios of my gpu (known issues with fans) and see if someone runs Msi Afterbuner and Rivatuner Statistics Server in Windows 8.1 x64 with no problems

I need these programs or other similar for monitoring temperatures while playing

Edit: Uncheck the "Quick Start" in Windows

You can do it with Speccy by Alt-Tabbing. I've had issues with that software in the past(Afterburner and Rivatuner)

I understand that only with Afterbuner without rivatuner, no problem, no ??

Afterbuner need as a minimum, to control the fans

I said that I had problems with both softwares. Try using Speccy instead, as far as fan controlling is concerned, you should be able to do that from Nvidia Control Panel.

BSOD again, this time he was copying the files (images music etc) from the old to the new HD. This old HD gave me errors (WARNING) with HD Tune in the previous W7 system, but did not think it would affect the new system W8.1 because it was not the principal.

Now I uninstalled, hopefully it was not a coincidence and was caused by the old HD.

Yesterday I was playing about 4 hours to BF4 smoothly and since I did the clean install I have not turned off the computer about 3 days without problems.

Uninstall any of these: RivaTuner/EVGA Precision/MSI Afterburner. They are the cause.

Hello in these last days I've been testing and I've come to this conclusion, I hope to explain.

1 The first BSOD sure was caused by a driver.

2 With reboots and BSOD damaged system files or windows and this caused BSOD even laid aside the OC.

3 I installed W7 again to see if the BSOD stopped, but the second day after leaving a game, jumped a BSOD. This made me suspicious of OC. Before touching me was stable so I did a clear CMOS and started from scratch with the OC.

4 I did the test with linx (25 passes) and prime95 (BLEND mode +/- 9 hours) without error and under W7, just a couple of BSOD adjusting the values of the offset.

5. I installed again W8.1 and now after two days I have not had BSOD.

Hopefully not by chance, but I think at the time I removed the OC and produced a BSOD at the time put OC again, thinking that the OC was not the reason. At this point I should not configure either the BIOS and carry chaos.

They are just speculation, but in principle it may make sense, time will tell.

Regards
