AMD Windows 8 WDDM 1.2 driver for (almost) everyone with AMD

I'm Having the same problem with an ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 in W8 64 bits.... Any solution?

any of you with Radeon 6xxx: have any of you found solution to the ugly fonts quality on big screen? I posted on this awhile back - tried tweaking everything: cleartype, color corrections, etc. so strange to see Win7 look great on the same rig, Win8 is awful. do not notice it so much on little screens but on big blu-ray-spec sony 46" I cannot resolve it. interested in other ideas.

the default color palette in use, it seems, on 8 is similar if not exact to windows 7 ultimate sp1: the background of various windows panels will be gray, and the font not quite black it seems to me; on 7 the font is pretty distinct with good contrast, but on 8 the font looks fuzzy and blends too well with the background. but even in several web browsers, it still looks really hideous. images are better, still not crisp like 7

Try new 12.9 beta drivers they are great. And one more thing to all members:
The thing that GMan is great. I am assure his experience could contribute to all memebers. Unfortunatly, he is banned. All of his drivers were working great. Administrators, please return him to this forum or give us any of his contact info.

And you cannot see that man who did this is banned. No luck for any of us... You can try new amd driver for your card it wddm 1.1 though...
