Activated Windows 8 keeps asking for activation.

I'm having a similar issue to the starter of this. Mine also says "permanently activated."

Here's my thing that you asked for from the starter of this thread.
Notes: I have restored this from a system image using Windows 7 recovery to create the system image and a boot to a Windows install disk to restore the image.
The partial product key does in fact list the last 5 digits of the product key for the OEM Win 8 Pro that I bought.
It seems to be asking me to activate it again after several days or maybe a month.
