I rebooted my computer last night for the first time in a couple of weeks. I chose the update and restart option and everything started normally. After a while - 20 minutes maybe - it was up to 14 of 37 updates. It was still stuck at 14 of 37, 16+ hours later. I started composing this question on my phone and noticed that I was at the login screen on my laptop. I signed in normally then checked to see if there were still updates pending but there were none. I started catching up on email and everything seemed fine, then the computer started getting unresponsive. I tried to reboot and found I had an update option. I chose that and it told me there were 27 updates just minutes after saying there were no updates and that was only minutes after it had been stuck on update 14 of 37! What the heck is going on here? Is there anything I need to do to verify that all necessary updates have been completely and successfully installed?

- I *think* many of the questions to which I've answered "not sure" are irrelevant because it is a laptop but if you need to know specifically what model of cooling fans or keyboard or whatever where built in to the laptop, I can try to find that out if you tell me where to look. I don't see this information in the Windows/System display but maybe it is elsewhere. I'm not sure what a "PSU" is: Powe
