Cannot install updates, error 8007371B and 80073712

    Hello,

I'm constantly trying to update my Windows 8 but I'm unable to do so, because everytime I try to update it, it fails to install because of an errors. To be specific, its two updates with different errors 8007371B and 80073712.
Those two updates are the only one showing up. Their id is KB2856373 (Update for W8 on x64 CPU's) and KB2781197 (Security update for W8 on x64 CPU's).
I have already tried sfc, chkdisk, Windows update diagnostics from Microsoft website, reseting the services, Windows build-in tool to fix Windows update errors and nothing helped.

Can anybody please help me out? I have no idea what to do.

    Press + X > select Command Prompt (Admin) > Type Dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth > press enter.

If the command reports store corruption next run > Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

After the tool has completed try running Windows Update again.

    dism output was

    The component store is repairable.
    The operation completed successfully.

so I didn't run the second command, still can't update, same errors

    It says it is repairable.
    Not that it was repaired.

The next dism command needs to be run to actually fix the corruptions.

Then run sfc /scannow to be safe.

The source files could not be downloaded.
Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required t
o restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see
    Configure a Windows Repair Source.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

EDIT: Windows modules installer is manual and running.

    Download the attached files.

First, right click WUfix2.bat > select Run as Administrator > Restart.

Next, right click WUlogs.bat > select Run as Administrator.

WUlogs will create a folder called Logs of the desktop please attach the files to your next post.

Sure, the first script threw some errors.
The site won't let me upload the CBS log since its 667 mb and it always times out.
sfcdetails log also cannot be uploaded, I don't know why but when I looked on it, its totally empty so maybe thats the reason (tried to run the script two times and it always came up empty).

The corruption detected by running the Dism tool was from Windows Defender. That should be fixed once the latest Updates get installed.

Download & Run this tool.. http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...global.DiagCab

It looks like you have about 15 Updates available. Try installing one update at a time. If that update fails move on to the next one.

    Please report back any information.

That is strange indeed, anytime I search for updates using Windows update it only shows up those two important updates I mentioned in first post of this thread and one update for Visual C++ 2010 Redist and I don't even have any updates hidden.
The diagnostic tool didn't find any problems and when I tried to install those updates one by one, every one of them failed and it seems they all fail when the progress bar is almost at the end.
