Hi, I am not sure if i should be posting this on this forum, or another, but here goes !
I have searched and search for an answer to this for two days
I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 and now my computer boots into 'other user'.
I then have to click ok - which tells me that my username and password are not valid - and then a back arrow, which takes me to a logon screen with icons for me, my nephew (who is a child user) and 'other user' (who does not exsist as far as I know, I do not have a guest account activated. I then have to click me!
Any ideas on how to it stop this, and boot straight into me, please?

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Here's a couple of things to check to see if it either may be this issue.
If you had set Windows to automatically sign in to a user account at startup, then see if using the tutorial below to turn this off and on again to make sure the correct sign in credentials are being used by Windows.
