make a folder on your desktop and copy the drivers from the USB there

then update the drivers manually pointing to the desktop folder

if successful delete the desktop folder

Did not work

I downloaded Broadcom win 8 32 bit because that's the right one it says windows could not find driver software for your device.

It may be defective, but try this..

go to device manager go to network adapters find your ethernet card and uninstall it

op top click on the action tab then select scan for hardware changes

let windows install its own drivers

and see if it works now.

In most cases these drivers are either incorrect, have been tweaked, corrupted, or intercepted and rerouted to either a malicious program or a legit program such as an antivirus or network managing program that messes it up..

Thats where i usually go first when something starts acting up, I delete it and let windows install its unmodified drivers..
