hi everyone

I am still having trouble with my wireless adaptor which keeps disconnecting and I have to keep reconnecting.I have bought a NETGEAR N150 wireless USB adaptor, could this solve my problem, and if so are they easy to install.

I have a brand new Netgear AC1900 Night Hawk router,it works great with all Win7 computers but it keep having to be reconnected to my Win8.1 computer. I am sure the Netgear router is not the problem,it's a Microsoft Win8.1 problem. I am already very tired with the Win8.1 system and very happy I have my other Win7 computer to still use.

Bring up Device Manager. Find your network adapter under, surprise, Network adapters. Right-click on your wireless network adapter and select Properties. Select the Power Management tab. Uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." OK out.
