windows resource

I keep getting the error " windows resource not available" when I try to run certain programs. The program uses an rs232 connection to a casio cash register and the program is cv22. I am using a usb to serial adaptor that i know works. Any Help out there?.

Welcome to the forums.

In Device Manager look in Properties for the USB port. See if it says something about allowing it to shut off to save power.
