I have a question regarding Widnows.OLD with downgrading from Windows 10 back to Windows 8.1. Will doing this create a Windows.OLD file of Windows 10?

No, all traces of Windows 10 will be gone. If you want a way to easily get back to Windows 10, create a backup image to an external hard drive using a program like Macrium Reflect Free.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately I don't have access to the computer in question, so I was unable to check the date for the of the Windows.OLD to substantiate this.
