windows installed too many partitions?

after putting fresh windows 8.1 on my new 64 gb ssd, it put 3 partitions as you can see. One was called D. When I clicked it I was told I had to format it so I did. It can be seen all the way to the left and is now seen as unallocated. Since i'ts all the way to the left I can't merge it with my other partitions. Can I just ignore it and sacrifice the 350 MB? Or should I re-install windows?

im getting the following error messages when trying to install my tivo desktop software: windows installer message - temp folder is on a drive full or in acessable.
wondering if this is a sign I should reinstall windows.

The screenshot shows the way you made the partitions, you can ignore or reinstall.

To clean install:
1) Clean the HD Drive, using Step one in this tutorial:
